Privacy Policy

Last updated October 9, 2026

Your family’s privacy matters to us, especially because we build for children. This page explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we keep it safe.

What we collect

When you sign up, we collect your email address and payment details. Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number ourselves.

When you set up a kid profile, we ask for a first name and a profile picture chosen from our characters, or a color. You can also give an age in years, which is optional and is used to help choose what to show that child. We do not collect birthdates, photos, school information, or any other personal details about your children. Kid profiles exist only inside your own account and are not shared or made public.

We also collect basic usage information, like which pages are visited and when, to help us understand how the app is used and fix problems.

Children’s privacy

Ayeina Kids is designed for parents to set up and manage on behalf of their children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Only a parent or guardian can create an account, add a kid profile, and manage subscription and billing details.

How we use your information

We use your information to run your account, process payments, send you important updates about your membership, and improve the app over time. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

Who we share information with

We work with a small number of trusted service providers to run Ayeina Kids: Stripe for payments, and providers for hosting, account and database services, email delivery, content management and video delivery. Each of these providers only receives the information needed to do their job, and is bound by their own privacy and security commitments. If you would like to know who they are, write to us and we will tell you.

If you sign up for our newsletter, your first name and email address are held by our email newsletter provider so we can send it. We only email you because you asked us to, and every newsletter has an unsubscribe link. The sign-up form also counts how often it is viewed, without identifying you.

Cookies and similar technologies

We do not use cookies for advertising, and we do not track you across other websites. There is no advertising network, no social media pixel, and no third party analytics product following your family around.

We do record which episodes get watched and how far through them people get, in our own systems rather than anyone else’s. It is how we learn which shows children actually enjoy and where an episode loses their attention, which is what tells us what to make next. What we keep is a profile name your child chose, the episode, and a position in it. No names, no addresses, no device fingerprints, and none of it is sold, shared or used to advertise to anyone.

Keeping you signed in and remembering your choices, like which profile is watching and which background it uses, is handled by your browser’s local storage rather than by cookies. That information stays on your device and is not sent anywhere.

Two other companies are involved when you use particular features. Stripe sets cookies while you are on its payment pages, which it needs for security and fraud prevention. Our video provider plays our videos, and we load its player in privacy mode, so it does not set tracking cookies or build a viewing profile of whoever is watching.

Because none of this is used for advertising or tracking, there is nothing here that needs your consent before it works. If that ever changes, we will ask first rather than assume.

Keeping your data safe

We use industry standard security practices to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls on our systems. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this responsibility seriously.

Your choices

You can update your account details, remove a kid profile, or close your account at any time from your settings. If you would like your data deleted entirely, email us at salam@ayeinakids.com and we will take care of it.

Changes to this policy

If we make a meaningful change to how we handle your information, we will let you know by email before it takes effect.
